I was born and raised in New Zealand. As a young boy, I discovered my passion for cooking and decided to pursue a college degree in hospitality and cooking.
To enhance my skills and knowledge, I moved to the land of haute cuisine. In Paris, I was fortunate to have worked at both one and two Michelin starred restaurants. It was there that I learned about classic and modern French cuisine.
The next stop on my culinary journey was Germany. After working at several Michelin starred restaurants, I continued along that path to Stuttgart, which eventually became my new home.
As the head chef of restaurant “Five”, I was rewarded with a Michelin star in 2014. This was a very special moment in my career, as a dream had finally come true, and all the hard work had paid off.
Through my journeys, I have gained many different flavors and cooking styles such as European, Asian and Pan Pacific. I would love to share all these beautiful flavors with you.
